Jacquie will visit your dog, cat or bird in your home for a fun training lesson that helps meet your family goals in the correct environment. You can arrange for Jacquie to come over while you are busy working, in or away from home. The lesson will be recorded and sent to you upon request within 1-2 business days. You can ask questions and submit your own training videos for feedback for free for as long as you are a recurring client, AKA Kind Choice Member. 

Jacquie will come walk your dog or cat around your neighborhood using BAT leash skills to provide a therapeutic sniff walk. Indoor harness and leash training is a prerequisite. Each appt is for one pet only. A properly fitted harness is required. Check out our top recommendations on the Shop page! No other walking gear will be necessary. We bring our own leash and treats unless otherwise requested. Only portions of the walk will be recorded when safe to do so and upon request.

If you are living in Lompoc Jacquie can come to your home to care for your pets 3-4 times a day for 30-60mins each time. Having your pets cared for in their own home can be the best way to ensure their comfort while you are away. If your pet has separation anxiety and cannot be left alone, this is not the best option and I would seek help from a veterinary behaviorist. Jacquie will provide a daily sniff walk, enrichment meals, training sessions and text updates while you are away. 

For dogs, cats or birds that need help learning to tolerate and accept medication and other at home veterinary prescribed treatments, including ear cleanings, eye medications and subcutaneous fluids. Jacquie will report directly to your veterinarian on the status of your pet at each visit and be brought into the loop about any medical conditions your pet is currently facing to ensure proper care. 

For fearful, anxious, and aggressive pets at the veterinary office, we provide stress-free exposure therapy to desensitize them to every aspect of their scary veterinary visit experience. We start at home with handling, then work on transportation, then fun visits, and finally handling in the office. Jacquie breaks this overwhelming process down into manageable steps for the quickest path to cooperation. 

For fearful, anxious, and aggressive pets during grooming procedures, we provide stress-free exposure therapy to desensitize them to every aspect of their scary grooming experience. Jacquie comes to your home to gradually train your pet to cooperate in their basic healthcare needs. Jacquie can teach you to groom them yourself or prepare them for professional grooming visits. Procedures include bathing, shaving, nail trims, hair brushing, teeth brushing, beak trimming and anal gland expression.
